About Us

Meet the southpaw team!

Meet Kelly;
Born and raised in New York's Hudson Valley I grew up around animals; from my family dog, and cat, to my grandfather's goose, and my uncle's goats. My first jobs were pet sitting for my moms
co-workers which was way more fun than yard work!
I moved to Philadelphia in 2011, found a job dog walking as soon as I could, and I've been working with the pets of Philadelphia almost every day since. I am a certified Canine Body Language Interpreter, And have my Certification In pet CPR & First Aid. I graduated in 2015 as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and like every "crazy dog person" I hope one day to open my own rescue!

Kate is a Pittsburgh, PA transplant who has been working with dogs ever since her freshman year of high school, where she worked in the boarding facility of her local vet clinic.  Since then she's worked as a shelter volunteer, at a doggy daycare, as a dog sitter, and as a foster parent.  Her longest-running and most rewarding job has been caring for her own dog, Lido, and his cat brother, Henceforth.  When she's not focusing on her mission of befriending every dog in Philadelphia, she is either reading, trying new craft beers, or attempting to teach herself Spanish.
